About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to become part of a well-established and supportive team in a practice that prioritizes delivering exceptional, high-quality veterinary care with a diverse range of services and treatment options.

The practice boasts a wealth of experience, including certifications in surgery and specialisms in exotics, cardiology, zoology, and botany. It is equipped with advanced facilities, such as cardiac ultrasound, dental x-rays, K-laser, aseptic theatre and prep room, endoscopes, and a full in-house lab for bloods and biochemistry.

The facility features separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, offering unique opportunities to work on a variety of cases, including birds, primates, reptiles, and snakes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional care during consultations and procedures, provide clear and compassionate client updates on patient progress, maintain high regulatory, practice, and operational standards, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure payment processes are managed efficiently.

They will also collaborate with the Practice Manager to optimize performance, mentor and develop team members to enhance skills and efficiency, share evolving standards and clinical best practices, and manage clinical handovers and facilitate patient transfers when necessary.

The successful applicant will have strong clinical leadership skills, a proven track record of delivering outstanding care to patients and clients, and the ability to foster a positive clinical culture and ensure exceptional client experiences.
