About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Underwriter to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers manage risk and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite complex Group A&H accounts, utilizing your deep technical expertise and analytical skills to make informed decisions.
  • Assess and manage risk, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective underwriting strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other key stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in underwriting and managing complex Group A&H accounts.
  • Deep understanding of Group A&H technical underwriting topics, including actuarial pricing, reserving, and claims handling.
  • Strong commercial skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
