We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist Registered Nurses and Care Managers in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
