About the Role

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a Behaviour Support Worker to work within our behaviour support department at a mainstream secondary school in Leeds. This position offers the chance to work with a talented team dedicated to providing exceptional support to students.

Job Description
  • Support students with SEMH challenges and develop strategies to promote their integration into mainstream classes.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Senior Leadership to implement effective behaviour management plans and provide ongoing support to students.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the well-being and academic achievement of students.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with young people, ideally within an education setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students with special educational needs, such as ASD and ADHD.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and ability to deescalate challenging situations.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Competitive salary, estimated at £25,000-£32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
  • Up to 13 weeks / 65 days holiday per annum, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
