Property Manager - Folkestone

This is an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed client's team as a Property Manager, supporting their expanding portfolio of properties in East Kent. Your role will involve maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and ensuring the security and maintenance of premises.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing rental rates by surveying the local market and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
  • Dealing with tenant contracts by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.
  • Working to financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and initiating corrective action.
  • Maintaining property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, organizing the completion of repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping companies.

Strong administrative abilities are essential, as part of the role will involve preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. We are looking for someone with excellent organization skills, strong MS Office, negotiation ability, a great communicator both verbally and written, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Preference will be given to those with some experience in Property Management or estate agency, although candidates with a strong administration background and excellent communication skills will be considered. Our client offers good working conditions, competitive rates of pay, and bonuses.
