Job Title: Production Project Lead

Babcock is working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Production Project Lead, you will have a unique opportunity to work on a programme delivering a new class of submarine.

You will be responsible for the delivery of several pieces of equipment and will therefore have influence over our daily workings. Following and implementing best practices within scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement, you will work with stakeholders from across the team and wider business to help drive delivery momentum and achieve the project goals.

This role is full-time, 37-hours per week and will be based onsite however, one day per week can be worked from home.

Essential experience of the Production Project Lead:

  • Manufacturing / production / engineering mindset
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with project management software tools

Qualifications for the Production Project Lead:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
