About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Medicines Optimisation team at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Medicines Optimisation across Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership for Medicines Optimisation across Greater Manchester, working across interfaces with NHS GM, ICP partners, locality partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support delivery of the themes and priorities of the NHS GM strategy, Joint Forward Plan, and Operational Plan, as well as national policies relevant to medicines optimisation.
  • Lead system-level work for medicines optimisation, working with managerial and clinical and care professional leaders across the ICS and locality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities, while prioritising the delivery of the Medicines Optimisation work programme.
  • Represent the CCPL voice in Greater Manchester and promote clinical leadership that is reflective of our population.
Requirements
  • Be a Clinician registered with a recognised Clinical Professional Body.
  • Have formal management qualification and/or proven and significant leadership experience.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of NHS Health and Care services at a National, Regional, and local level.
  • Have experience of working at a Senior level within the NHS and considerable senior experience of leading in integrated health and care settings.
