Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Specialist Mammographer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting quality control procedures for mammography to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Managing all administrative tasks related to the Mammography service, following the directives of the Superintendent Mammographer and Imaging Manager
  • Collaborating closely with radiologists to deliver comprehensive imaging services
  • Participating in symptomatic breast clinics and providing assistance with vacuum-assisted biopsies as necessary

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Post-graduate experience with a post-DCR qualification in Mammography
  • Understanding of processes and procedures related to mammography
