About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Managing Director of Renewable Energy at the Green Recruitment Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our international energy transition business and supporting our Global MD in expanding our portfolio across the UK, Europe, North America, and Australasia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of investment professionals to identify and execute investment opportunities in renewable energy
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the growth and expansion of our renewable energy business
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts
  • Collaborate with our Global MD to develop and implement a global expansion strategy
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our renewable energy business, including investment, fundraising, and asset management
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our renewable energy business
  • Work closely with our divisional heads to drive the business forward and achieve our strategic objectives
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in investment and fund management within the renewable energy sector
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and implement a long-term strategy for the growth and expansion of our renewable energy business
  • Experience in developing and launching new funds and investment products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
