**Job Overview**

This role will join the EMEA Legal and Compliance Team, working closely with logistics and customs teams. The position is responsible for ensuring customs & trade regulation compliance, analyzing procedures, policies, and compliance programs.

The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about e-commerce and innovation, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

  1. Maintains the region's compliance status with regulatory bodies including customs, export control, and tax authorities.
  2. Reviews internal controls, develops processes, administers audit programs, and oversees corrective action plans.
  3. Monitors EU and legislations within the EMEA region on Customs and import / trade law regarding business processes and flows of goods.
  4. Fulfils company and customs requirements in terms of simplified customs clearance of goods, reporting, and reconciliation.
  5. Supports import compliance training program development and provides training as needed.
  6. Prepares reports and presentations on customs & trade compliance activities and status for senior management.
  7. Performs other duties to ensure trade compliance in the EMEA region, aligning with the Director of Trade Compliance EMEA.

**Responsibilities**

We are seeking an experienced professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to influence and drive projects under tight deadlines, and strong communication skills.

**Salary**: We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience.
