About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project management commissions, taking ownership of end-to-end service delivery, and ensuring that client objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Advise at a strategic level on project conception, including providing guidance on approaches to achieve client objectives
    • Establish overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
    • Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues
    • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems
    • Project planning, including ensuring the production of detailed project plans
    • Advise on resource procurement
    • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
    • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs
    • Manage change control processes
    • Monitor and advise on project finances
    • Manage project information flow between teams and clients
    • Ensure production of formal project progress reports
    • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
  • Marketing and Business Development
    • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients
    • Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities
    • Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
    • Attend client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors
    • Ensure project case study, photograph, and project CV files are up to date
    • Identify and act on opportunities to improve project management products and services
  • Internal Management Accountabilities
    • Staff management (where applicable) - input into formal management of Assistant Project Managers or small project management teams
    • Knowledge management - ensure key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
    • Financial management - ensure prompt client invoicing and utilize FMS to monitor project financial status
    • Process improvement - identify and act on ways to improve internal systems and processes
    Requirements
    • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
    • Professionally qualified (MCIOB/APM or similar)
    • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
    • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects
