Electrical Design Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of projects and bids, coordinating with DNO/IDNOs to obtain design approval, and guiding the customer through the design process. They will also provide project cost estimates and reports, review the quality and technicalities of work produced by other team members, and approve electrical, protection, manufacturer, and consultant designs. Additionally, they will ensure that the design approval process is managed appropriately and clients are managed through the design process. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering subject, minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical Distribution design up to and including 132kV, and experience in using AutoCAD, Windebut ERACS, or other Power system software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of projects and bids.
- Coordinate with DNO/IDNOs to obtain design approval.
- Guide the customer through the design process.
- Provide project cost estimates and reports.

- Degree in relevant engineering subject.

- £70,000 - £85,000 Per Annum
- £540 Car Allowance
- Hybrid working 2 days max (Can be flexible)
