- IFE, CABE, or CIBSE membership highly desirable
- Experience in fire safety, fire surveying, fire engineering, civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, surveying, fire strategy, structural engineering, thermodynamics, or studying a PhD
- Previous positions as fire safety engineer, fire engineer, fire surveying, external wall surveyor, civil engineer, architect, building surveyor, fire strategy engineer, mechanical engineer, fire safety advisor, or structural engineer
