Electrical Engineer

Kilwaughter Minerals is a leading business in the industry, and we are seeking highly skilled Electrical or Mechanical Engineers to join our team. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional engineering expertise and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team members and deliver a safety-first culture.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, accurately recording planned and breakdown activities.
- Create detailed instructions and critical spares lists for preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults on plant equipment/machinery.
- Evaluate root causes and solutions for continuous learning and improvements.
- Work with complex control systems, data communications, and PLC systems (software and hardware) configuration and fault-finding.
- Update and maintain electrical drawings and documentation.
- Oversee the sourcing, installation, and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
- Collaborate with production and Maintenance teams to address breakdowns and establish priorities for timely and efficient repairs.
- Provide support and training to Maintenance Technicians.
- Adhere to health, safety, environmental procedures and ensure the execution of safety procedures, training, risk assessments, and permit to work systems.
- Third Level Engineering Qualification.
- 5 years' experience in Electrical/Mechanical Discipline.
- Strong level of all-round Electrical/Mechanical Engineering knowledge, with at least 5 years' experience gained within a Manufacturing environment.
- Root cause analysis and fault-finding experience on automated machinery and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from various sources.
