About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and focused IT Business Analyst to join our small, Agile IT Implementation team at Set2Recruit. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting developers, analysts, and business users/managers in the delivery of new software implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to validate solutions and ensure user requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with developers in an Agile environment to deliver business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of all processes.
  • Provide high-quality documentation and direction for the development team.
  • Perform UAT new releases and gain an understanding of the current operational procedures.
  • Some exposure to at least one programming language is required.
Requirements
  • Between 2-4 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst (BA) role or proven test engineering experience.
  • Experience of working with developers in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team implementing business solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to resolve complex business problems with excellent user outcomes.
  • Strong documentation and requirements experience.
  • Comfortable demonstrating software processes to potentially large audiences and senior management.
  • Strong & effective communication of business change and processes.
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
  • The ability to motivate others and lead change.
Technical Specifications
  • High reliability and conscientiousness, thorough documenting skills.
  • A good understanding and grasp of information technology.
  • Experience using modelling languages such as UML and BPMN.
