About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic Residential Property team at Reed. As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and Fee Earners in the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Analyze Local Searches: Compare local searches against previous records to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage Help to Buy Loan Redemptions: Coordinate with lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Communicate with Clients and Stakeholders: Escalate complex inquiries to Fee Earners and provide timely updates to clients.
  • Verify Mortgage Offers and Liaise with Clients and Lenders: Address queries and ensure seamless communication.
  • Follow up with Clients for Deposits and Paperwork: Prepare files for exchange and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle Post-Completion Matters: Register properties and conduct search applications.
  • Generate Quotes and Initiate Files: Manage peak periods and ensure efficient file management.
  • Draft and Dispatch Documents: Prepare and send documents to buyers' solicitors for sales.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
  • Previous Experience in a Similar Role: Preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Data Entry and Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Work Independently and Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong IT Skills and Commitment to High Standards
