Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Agriculture Service Technician to join Terry Parris Associates in Crawley, West Sussex. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing electro-mechanical industrial equipment on printing presses.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in 3-phase industrial environments and possess electrical engineering qualifications (City & Guilds level 1&2&3 or HNC/HND). You should also have recent experience in field service roles, commissioning, installations, warranty visits, and traveling for work.

In this role, you will accompany experienced Service Technicians on installation and service jobs, providing comprehensive training in production to gain knowledge of components, assembly, repairs, and product testing. Your duties will include:

  • Installation of electro-mechanical industrial equipment on printing presses
  • Commissioning and testing the equipment to satisfy customer requirements
  • Providing operator training and customer/Distributor/staff training as needed
  • Service and repair of existing systems

You will travel extensively within the UK and overseas, working independently but with support from our in-house service team. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Terry Parris Associates offers a competitive salary package, including a basic salary range of £40,000 - £45,000, plus benefits such as worldwide travel opportunities and comprehensive training.
