Aerospace Manufacturing Technician

Job Description:
">We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Workshop Technician to join our team at Sky Personnel in Aylesbury. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with a contract lasting between 12-16 weeks.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Inspection Supervisor and be responsible for:
- Inspecting and testing materials and components using various processes and techniques
- Interpreting component drawings and test procedures to ensure accurate identification of part numbers, drawing issues, product requirements, and special process requirements
- Preparation of inspection reports and non-conformance reports in line with company quality policy
- Recording all inspection and testing results
- Identifying jigs and components using laser marking specified in accordance with job card instructions
- Utilizing Vernier Calipers/Micrometres
- Handling materials carefully to avoid damage and accidents due to mishandling
- Completing work within required work schedules to maintain productivity at the highest level
- Communicating with internal personnel, suppliers, and customers regarding quality issues
- Assisting in the implementation of ongoing company quality programs such as continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with inspection equipment
- Knowledge of Vernier's and Micrometres
- Understanding of dimensions and tolerances
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages
Key Responsibilities:
- Good attention to detail
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Lifting light to medium weights (components)
- Basic understanding of Technical Drawings/CAD modelling an advantage
Compensation Package:
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.00 per hour, translating to an annual salary range of £23,920 - £24,960, depending on experience.
