About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at MCL Medics. As a key member of our OH Delivery team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to achieve their statutory duties to protect and promote the health, safety, and welfare of people at work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify health risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Report on health risks and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
  • Perform routine health surveillance and pre-placement screenings to ensure the health and wellbeing of employees
  • Undertake fitness-for-work assessments and provide expert advice on workplace health and safety
  • Manage health records and ensure safe storage, security, and confidentiality of OH records
  • Work to strict protocols and procedures set by MCL Medics and in line with SEQOHS accreditation
Requirements
  • RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered
  • Proactive, friendly, and professional individual with workload management confidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practices
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages and comfortable in use of OH software
