Job Title: Theatre Practitioner

Optical Express, a leading provider of laser eye and cataract surgery, is seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at our Nottingham clinic.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Theatre Practitioner to work in our state-of-the-art treatment centre. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting our Ophthalmologists in delivering world-class patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in laser vision correction and intraocular lens (cataract) surgeries
  • Provide anaesthetic assistance
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Manage medicines and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous Theatre or scrub experience. You will also need to be flexible to work at our other clinics on a regular basis.
