Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in producing accurate and competitive tender and bid submissions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze client projects to determine the most suitable approach for tender and bid submissions
  • Conduct cost analysis and produce bills of quantities to ensure accurate pricing
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing supply chain partners and interview and appraise new contractors
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction, bid, design, and planning teams to deliver high-quality tender and bid submissions

Requirements:

  • Excellent 1st principle estimating skills and experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Conquest software packages is an advantage
