Key Responsibilities

As a Domestic Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high standards of cleaning within clinical and non-clinical areas
  • To clean specific areas in line with Trust policy and national cleaning standards
  • To provide a cleaning service in accordance with approved methods, standards, and frequencies
  • To support terminal cleans and infection controls, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures

You will also be responsible for:

  • Removing and cleaning up uncontained body fluid spillages in line with Trust policy and national cleaning standards
  • Using cleaning equipment, machinery, and cleaning materials responsibly and safely
  • Able to spot defects with machinery and report to Supervisor

The salary for this position is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, and we offer a range of benefits, including:
