Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cash and Banking Reconciliation Assistant to join our finance team in Guildford. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our cash and banking processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weekly reconciliation of sales through to bank receipts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Ensuring all petty cash expenses are in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Managing our EPOS system end-of-day process, with training provided for super-user status.
  • Supporting the Management Accounting Team with monthly/annual bank reconciliations and year-end audit queries.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties to support the Finance Team as needed.

Requirements:
Candidates with experience in managing a retail store or restaurant/hospitality environment and an interest in pursuing a career in finance are encouraged to apply. Problem-solving skills, including being inquisitive and resolving issues effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.
