Education and development are at the heart of everything we do. Many of our dentists are experienced mentors and supervisors, and with over 40 DFT practices, we understand the unique needs of junior colleagues. We actively listen to our team members and have implemented initiatives like the FD+1 Scheme to support their transition into associate roles.

The FD+1 Scheme: A Year of Comprehensive Support

Our FD+1 Scheme is a year-long program designed to provide newly qualified dentists with hands-on experience, interactive CPD opportunities, and ongoing clinical and mentor support.

What You Can Expect from the Program:

  • Hands-on study days led by experienced speakers in various dental specialties, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, clinical photography, composite bonding, and oral surgery.
  • Regular group Zoom meetings and drop-in sessions with a dedicated Clinical Support Lead to discuss clinical cases and address any queries.
  • On-site support from an experienced clinical lead at your practice.
  • Networking opportunities with other FD+1s and our wider clinical team.
  • Flexibility in managing your own diary and scheduling appointments to suit your needs.
  • Investment in equipment and materials to support your clinical interests.
