Key Responsibilities- Support the smooth running of the banquets department, ensuring all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service are executed flawlessly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
- Take ownership of duties and tasks assigned, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to departmental plans and objectives, ensuring hotel initiatives and targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with colleagues to control costs and inventory, while maintaining productivity and performance levels.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships, promoting the company culture and values.
- Ensure adherence to all legislation, performing due diligence requirements and best practice activities for internal and external audit.
- Experience in banquets is beneficial but not essential.
- A hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- The ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
- Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
