An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically astute individual to join our client's prestigious business park in West London. This challenging role will see you working as part of their busy in-house engineering and property team, assisting with managing all building services across the estate.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Effective control and management of electrical and mechanical services, along with associated engineering contracts.
  • Statutory compliance and regulatory adherence are crucial aspects of this role.
  • Control and maintenance of building services, infrastructure, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist with project management of building refurbishment projects, focusing on timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Evaluation and maintenance of plant, backup, and monitoring systems to guarantee peak performance.
  • Troubleshooting and provision of engineering support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Provide day-to-day support and adjustments to infrastructure as required, prioritizing effective solutions.
  • Manage outsourced contracts related to M&E services, maintaining strong relationships and optimizing value.
  • Chair regular update meetings with contract managers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified electrically or mechanically, preferably holding a degree or HND level qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS).
  • Previous experience within commercial buildings, with a strong emphasis on facilities management.
  • A solid grasp of statutory and lift compliance regulations, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Estimated salary: £62,000 per annum
