About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced water resources specialist to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the water industry, with strong knowledge of hydraulic modelling, water resource modelling, or optimisation modelling. You will also have a degree in a relevant subject, such as geography, geological sciences, environmental science, civil or environmental engineering, and preferably hold a postgraduate degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, and/or water resources management.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in the planning and implementation of water resource projects, ensuring they adhere to scope, budget, timescale, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement water resource projects, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, timescale, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform decisions on water resources availability and operation of sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement water resources strategies.
- Run commercial projects, bids, and proposals on time within budget and quality constraints with limited supervision.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the water industry, with strong knowledge of hydraulic modelling, water resource modelling, or optimisation modelling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analysis to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- A degree in a relevant subject, such as geography, geological sciences, environmental science, civil or environmental engineering, and preferably hold a postgraduate degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, and/or water resources management.
