Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a specialist manufacturer. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Implement planned maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime and reduce costs.
  • Work collaboratively with production and technical teams to troubleshoot processing problems and implement solutions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Assist with training and instruction of operatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Fully apprenticeship-trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills, with experience of installation work.
  • Proficiency in PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £36-37K plus £9K shift allowance.
  • A Panama shift pattern working 12 hours days and nights.
  • 2 weeks working 7am to 7pm and 2 weeks working 7pm to 7am.
  • A range of benefits, including a bonus, pension, holidays, and enhanced sick pay.
