Job Summary: Hospitality Support Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Support Associate to join our team in the University of Bath's Hospitality Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the food outlets in the west of campus, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and receive stock, maintaining excellent hygiene standards
  • Operate dishwashers and carry out daily cleaning of kitchen equipment, cutlery, and crockery
  • Set up tables and furniture
  • Support the food outlets in the west of campus

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working in a kitchen porter/general porter role and providing an excellent standard of customer service. You should also be able to work well within a team and adapt to changing circumstances.

Working Arrangements:

This role is mainly Mon-Fri with occasional weekend requirements. During the summer, there is an increased requirement for weekend and late evening shifts to be covered on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract.

Benefits:

We offer a generous leave entitlement, including closure over the Christmas period, a pension scheme, and access to many of the University's top-quality facilities and services. Additionally, you will receive training and uniform, and there are opportunities to develop in the role and seek promotion into supervisory roles.

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time roles)
