Job Title: Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Development

Thames Water is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in the development of our infrastructure projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing engineering problems, creating designs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating root causes of problems in our wastewater network
  • Liaising with other engineering disciplines to ensure that the civil engineering design caters to their needs
  • Providing civil engineering input into asset surveys, plant condition assessments, feasibility studies, whole-life costing, and preliminary designs
Requirements:
  • Be educated to degree level or other appropriate technical qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Some post-qualification experience as a civil engineer designing drainage networks, pump stations, and pipelines
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our Engineering regulatory requirements

  • Competitive salary from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
  • 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service
