Job Description:

As a Senior Infrastructure Specialist at Telefonica Tech, you will be responsible for providing problem analysis and support to our large managed service customers. Your primary focus will be on installing, maintaining, operating, and configuring computer hardware and software. You will work independently, using your own initiative to perform a variety of technical duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with our technical architects to implement and deploy leading edge technologies to our customer base.
  • Gain an understanding of large managed service platforms and become a SME in one or more areas.
  • Ability to work in a large, dedicated team and take ownership of infrastructure and platform issues.
  • Proactively transfer product skills and knowledge to customers as part of the project engagement process.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to non-technical audiences.


Requirements:
  • Experience of VMware ESXi server platforms.
  • Experience of Blade Server (Synergy) hardware and management of such within a Datacentre Environment.
  • Experience of SAN solutions (notably HPE); Installing, configuring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience of working with backup services (notably Veeam).
  • Experience of installing and configuring Windows Server platforms.
  • A sound knowledge of general networking principles and TCP/IP.
