Job Opportunity: EHS Manager

Apleona UK is seeking an experienced and highly organized EHS Manager to oversee and support the Health & Safety at our client site in the Wirral. The successful candidate will have responsibility for assisting all EHS activities and supporting the Facilities IFM Operations teams on a prestigious pharmaceutical client facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide EHS training and support to employees and contractors
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
  • Develop and maintain EHS documentation and records
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or regulated compliant environment
  • Knowledge of industrial hygiene EHS and preferably in a lab or GxP pharmaceutical environment
  • Level 3 or above Health and Safety practitioner (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
  • A foundation level or above Environment qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
