About the Role


As a Tesco Shift Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting our store operations and delivering exceptional customer service.



Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £15.41 per hour for stores inside the M25, with opportunities for additional payments based on location and skills.


New colleagues can expect a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if desired.



Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:



  • Overseeing duty shifts and coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customers leave the store satisfied
  • Couching colleagues and providing feedback to improve service
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
  • Monitoring store performance and assisting managers in implementing improvements
