## Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a bank basis, blending the convenience of agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.
## Key Responsibilities:
* Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
* Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
* Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
* Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.

## What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential, such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
* Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
* Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
