Job Title: Pre-Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Clark Contracts Ltd. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical content for bids and tenders within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project programmes from concept to construction, ensuring all project milestones are achievable and align with client expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of bid strategies, ensuring proposals reflect the company's competitive advantages, technical expertise, and innovative solutions.
  • Write detailed technical bid responses, ensuring all technical elements of the proposal align with client needs and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with supporting departments to gather and integrate technical input into submissions.
  • Identify potential project risks and provide mitigation strategies to reduce impact.
  • Contribute to value engineering exercises, suggesting alternative methodologies or materials to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or timelines.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in technical bid writing within the construction sector, with strong industry knowledge.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise bid responses.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and other relevant software tools.
