Job Summary

Jays Logistics (South West) Ltd is seeking a skilled LGV Class 1 Driver to join our Construction Division, working night shifts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting tunnel segments between Avonmouth, Filton, and Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a brand new fleet of Mercedes tractors and flat bed trailers
  • Transport tunnel segments between Avonmouth, Filton, and Birmingham
  • Perform shunts from Avonmouth to Filton Airfield
  • Work night shifts, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required
  • Meet the requirements of the HS2 contract
Requirements
  • Current tacho and CPC certification
  • 1 year of experience driving a goods vehicle (preferred)
  • Ability to work night shifts and overtime as required

Working Conditions

As a night driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting the demands of the HS2 contract. You will be working with a brand new fleet of vehicles and will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of tunnel segments.
