Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Carrington area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1).
  • Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
  • Have a minimum of 2 year's experience driving a C+E vehicles.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
