We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Windyhall Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Support residents with their physical and emotional needs, including mobility and continence
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
- At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent role
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.10
- Contracted hours of 33 per week, with opportunities for overtime
- Pension scheme and 5.6 weeks annual leave
- Onsite parking and paid PVG
