We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Windyhall Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support residents with their physical and emotional needs, including mobility and continence
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent role
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • Contracted hours of 33 per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • Pension scheme and 5.6 weeks annual leave
  • Onsite parking and paid PVG
