Lead Fetal Sonographer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fetal Sonographer to lead our sonographer-led Fetal Medicine service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), auditing and managing complex ultrasound equipment, and liaising with commercial and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for fetal ultrasound scanning
  • Manage and maintain complex ultrasound equipment, including scheduling routine service, replacement, and procurement
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing teams to promote our services
  • Network with key stakeholders, including GP practices
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in Obs and Gynae ultrasound
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
  • Evidence of academic achievement at a Master's degree level
  • Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Fully competent in all Fetal Ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal, Doppler, and Nuchal translucency
  • Registered Radiographer with HCPC or Registered Midwife with NMC registration (desired but not essential)
