Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team of civil engineers on our biggest clean water and wastewater projects. As a key member of our commercial team, you will work closely with operational managers and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project budgets, forecasts, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions, drive cost savings, and optimize resource allocation.
- Brief and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the clean water and wastewater sector.
- A strong understanding of contract law, procurement procedures, and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
