Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant/LSA

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant/LSA in Primary Schools in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN: Work one-on-one or in small groups to provide tailored assistance to students with various learning needs.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment: Help build a classroom atmosphere where all students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn.
  • Collaborate with educators: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement learning strategies.
  • Track progress: Assist in monitoring student development and adjust support methods to meet their needs.

About You:

  • Experience: Prior experience in education or working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs.
  • Compassion: A genuine passion for supporting children in their learning journey.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced classroom environment.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £12.83 - £13.05 per hour (Term-time only). We offer a range of benefits, including the opportunity to gain experience in the SEN field while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.
