About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Head of History to drive the development of the history curriculum. Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing a history curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum and supports students in exploring diverse perspectives and appreciating the relevance of history in today's world.

  • Organising field trips, guest lectures, and interactive projects to enrich students' historical knowledge and engagement.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in History or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Extensive experience in teaching History at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
Salary and Benefits
