About the Role

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our site commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the site commercial team, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Assist in managing project risks and opportunities, utilizing your analytical skills to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Prepare accurate costs estimates and financial reports, leveraging your knowledge of construction and pre-construction programmes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or a comparable qualification.
  • Understanding of achieving the best value outcome and ability to utilise past knowledge and experience to minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Basic ability to read construction and pre-construction programmes and sufficient commercial acumen to make considered decisions.
  • Familiarity with and ability to use all MS office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ability to prepare accurate reports.
