Job Title: Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in providing psychological support to students with special educational needs (SEN).

About the Role:

  1. Support Student Development: Work closely with SEN staff and teachers to identify students who require additional psychological support and develop strategies to improve their emotional, social, and academic outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external specialists to monitor student progress, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement behavioral management strategies.
  3. Provide Support Sessions: Offer one-on-one and group support sessions to students facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges, promoting a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Contribute to Program Development: Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of SEN programs, ensuring the holistic support of each student.
  5. Work with External Partners: Work closely with parents, guardians, and external professionals to ensure the comprehensive support of each student.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Qualifications: A strong interest in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology or SEN support, with relevant qualifications in psychology, education, or a related field.
  2. Experience and Skills: Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and patient approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  3. Personal Qualities: Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to professional growth and development.
  4. Clearances and Certifications: Valid DBS and right to work document.
