About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Efficiency Specialist to join our team in Devon.

This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in a similar role within an HGV or Council Fleet workshop environment and possess strong commercial vehicle knowledge.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Overseeing routine (and preventative) maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles.
  2. Ensuring that all vehicles are prepared for MOT inspections.
  3. Managing scheduled servicing to meet DVSA standards.
  4. Carrying out regular inspections to identify and correct potential issues.
  5. Coordinating correction of running defects.
  6. Leading chassis and fabrication work projects.
  7. Supervising hydraulics and pneumatics tasks.
  8. Driving improvements in vehicle standards.
  9. Inspecting and correcting electrical and wiring issues.

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
