About the Role

A skilled and experienced chef de partie is required to run a specific section in our kitchen and report to the Head Chef. The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills and qualities, including:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide range of dishes to the highest culinary standards.
  • Assisting in maintaining high health and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  • Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and implement kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef de partie in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use kitchen software.
