About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Older Adult Psychiatry Team in Salford. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with medical colleagues to support inpatient and community teams with clinical activities, including meetings, CPAs, and Mental Health Act-related tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess and manage risk, including vulnerability, suicide risk, and risks to health and safety.
  • Diagnose and formulate management plans with supervision as required.
  • Support Memory clinics and work in partnership with local GPs.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor who possesses the following qualities:

  • Medical Degree and full GMC Registration.
  • 4 years full-time postgraduate or equivalent experience.
  • Registered or eligible to register for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
