Technical Publications Hub Manager

CPS Group is partnering with a global leader in advanced technology tools and systems to find a Technical Publications Hub Manager in Bristol. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and a competitive salary of up to £60,000, plus benefits.

As a strategic leader, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-quality technical documentation across the business, ensuring consistency and excellence. You will manage a team of technical authors, set industry standards, and create technical content that meets customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain relationships with departments to deliver projects efficiently.
  2. Develop clear content plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for technical documentation projects.
  3. Lead and support a team of technical authors in a collaborative hybrid work environment.
  4. Develop and maintain content standards, processes, and documentation in the Business Management System.
  5. Explore new digital content formats, such as videos and augmented reality.
  6. Ensure compliance with export controls, health and safety regulations, and other business requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or qualifications in English with a technical writing portfolio.
  2. Strong experience with Madcap Flare and Adobe FrameMaker is highly desirable.
  3. Proven experience in technical writing, team leadership, and resource management.
  4. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and drive content innovation.
