**Job Description:** Fitter/Shunter Driver - LGV/HGV Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our team at Biffa Waste Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of modern waste collection vehicles, including Light and Heavy Goods Vehicles (LGV/HGV).

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of LGV/HGV vehicles and equipment
  • Shunting of vehicles in the workshop
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or proven experience repairing and maintaining Light or Heavy vehicles
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
  • MOT preparation experience is advantageous
  • HGV/LGV 2 licence

Salary and Benefits:
