About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Leader to join our team at WISHMORE CROSS ACADEMY-1 as Vice Principal in charge of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to shape the future of SEND and make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating innovative and evidence-based provision for children with identified SEND needs. With a deep understanding of SEND, you will possess a track record of initiating and delivering whole-school improvement initiatives, showcasing commitment to inclusion with high expectations for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils
  • Develop and implement innovative and evidence-based strategies to support pupils with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure seamless support for pupils
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support pupils with SEND
